Common appliances found in households are often major contributors to fires. It is very important to keep some space in between your appliances. When you push your appliances close to each other, the heat that’s generated by each is not able to dissipate into the surrounding air. You should also make sure that each individual appliance is plugged directly into the wall, versus into an extension cord where multiple appliances are taking advantage of the power. Finally, sign up for recall notices, for each and every appliance you have. They’re the best way to be alerted if there is ever a power failure or functionality issue.
