Quell Helps Newcrest Staff Keep Safe Over the Holiday Period

Newcrest Mining recently purchased Quell Home Fire Safety Kits to present to their staff as a present. The leading international gold company and one of the world's lowest cost gold producers requested the Home Fire safety kit be customised with their company logo on the front and a Season’s Greetings message on the back. Newcrest said they had a strong focus on safety and the product perfectly aligns with their safety message of ‘ No  Accidents  Today –  Target  Zero’.

“ Safety at work is our number one priority and this gift was a way to extend that priority to our employees'  homes  -  hence the fire extinguisher and blanket for home use”,  said  Debra Stirling,  Newcrest Mining  EGM People, Communication and Environment .

The home fire safety kit includes an extinguisher and a fire blanket which can be used in the house, caravan, boat, or outside near the BBQ or in the garage.

“Traditionally we provide product to hardware stores and retailers nationally however this opportunity allows us to look at reaching out to new markets such as larger corporate clients that may want to purchase products for their staff or customers as gifts” said David Laundry,  National Consumer Manager, Quell Fire & Safety.
