19" Rack Mount Fire Protection

Many of today’s computer server cabinets can generate enormous heat loads, increasing the risk of fire within the cabinet. Redetec is a unique fire protection system which puts both fire detection and fire suppression where it counts: inside the cabinet.

Self contained and housed in a 19” rack-mounted chassis, Redetec is easy to install and maintain and provides 24/7 protection.

Designed to comply with recognised fire system design standards, Redetec can operate as a standalone fire protection solution or in conjunction with other fire systems.

Redetec is fitted with point-type smoke detectors and ultilises FM-200^® as the fire extinguishing agent. Other extinguishing agents are also available. 

Redetec units may be integrated with total fl ooding room systems to form a complete fire system solution.
