The Magellan™ home security system is the newest release to Chubb's range of intruder alarm systems. The Magellan™ is the first wireless security system to combine security features with popular consumer features and a stylish design. The new system includes the ability to access the system features by phone - call the Magellan™ anywhere to confirm the system status, arm or disarm the system, speak to persons that are at home, leave a voice message in the family message centre or activate a home automation device such as an air conditioner or lights.*

Remote Control Operation with Built-In Features

Use the remote control to arm and disarm the system. The two additional buttons can be used to turn on lights, the air conditioner or the garage door.*

Family Message Centre    

Use your security system as a message centre to leave a message or reminder to someone coming home later. Record messages with one touch or call the Magellan™ from any phone to leave a message. A flashing light indicates that a message is waiting - simply push a button and listen to the message in a crisp, high quality voice.

Built-In FM Radio

Listen to your favourite radio station with Magellan's™  built-in FM radio with its quality sound and the capability to store up to 15 radio stations in the memory. The system can also turn the radio on automatically whenever the system is armed, leaving the impression that someone is home.
